What is worse: the bomb or the bombing?
Is it our place to stop this? What makes countries such as the USA eligible to make and hold nuclear weapons yet stop countries such as Iran from making them?
Do you think Israel will go along with an attack on these nuclear plants despite the warnings they have been given?
Casus Belli- Justification for an act of war.
I think the actual bombing would be worse because the western culture really hasnt experienced major attacks (other than things like 9/11 and pearl harbour) and I think that peopel would have no idea how to handle it.
ReplyDeleteI think the US is being a little hipocrytical becasue they have nukes but other countries like Iran arent allowed to have the. However the US is responsible with their weapons and when they use them and i dont think Iran would be very responsible with them. I also thin we should handle this like Iraq and not get involved at all or wait untill the situation developes further.
I dont think Israel will go along with the attacks because they would be afraid of what other arab countries might do to them id they go along with it.
"What is worse: the bomb or the bombing?"
ReplyDeleteIf it can be proven that Iran is indeed developing a bomb, then bombing them is probably better. Although there will be many casualties and innocent lives lost, it would still be not as a great a loss as entire nations being destroyed by a nuclear bomb.

It depends on the nation's intentions. I, personally, do not believe the United States should be in possession of nuclear weapons, even if they don't intend to use them. If they didn't have to potential to attack with them, maybe other countries wouldn't be so willing to development their own nuclear weapons. Therefore, if it is true Iran has developed these, the nation may believe it is simply out of defence. In conclusion, Iran should be stopped from continuing development, however the United States doesn't need to be the 'ring leader.' They will be, however, because of their close ties to Israel and willingness to spend on military equipment and weapons development.

I think Israel will act in line with their main ally, the United States. Should the U.S. choose to attack, so will Israel.
